  1.   Many BBSes run on MS-DOS computers and use ANSI graphics. These graphics
  2. have two levels of brightness. Z-Term displays bright text as bold print on
  3. the Macintosh. Having all that text displayed as bold can make the words
  4. difficult to read. The resource file in this package will replace the bold
  5. fonts in Z-Term with plain-faced fonts so that Z-Term will never display
  6. bold print. If the bold type doesn't disturb you, then don't use this
  7. package.
  8.   This modification is free. Please keep it that way. Remember to smile if
  9. you enjoy it. Distribute to your heart's content, but please keep this
  10. package intact, together with this help file.

  12.   Here, step by step, is how to modify ZTerm to never display bold fonts.
  13.  
  14.   1: Make a copy of Z-Term.
  15.   2: Run ResEdit.
  16.   3: Open the copy of ZTerm with ResEdit.
  17.   4: Open ZTermNoBold with ResEdit.
  18.   5: Select all the resources in ZTermNoBold and copy them
  19.      (either command-C or use the Copy command in the Edit Menu)
  20.   6: Select the ZTerm window.
  21.   7: Paste (command-V) the resources into the ZTerm window.
  22.   8: A dialog appears asking you whether to replace existing resources.
  23.      You must replace the existing resources. Do not select Unique ID.
  24.   9: Save and close the copy of ZTerm.
  25.  10: Quit ResEdit.
  26.  11: Remove your original ZTerm and put it in a safe place.
  27.  12: Put your new, modified copy of ZTerm where the original used to be.
  28.  13: All done. Call up your favorite local ANSI BBS and enjoy the change.
